The 8th Guangzhou International Lighting Festival was officially lit. The colorful Huacai on the Guangzhou Tower and 300 UAV formations flying over the Pearl River are intertwined. The Huacheng Square has a changing light and shadow. The creative lighting art works gathered in the world show the story of Guangzhou's era in the 40 years of reform and opening up in the light media language.
Just on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, the theme of the 8th Guangzhou International Lighting Festival is “40 years of reform and opening up, a new era of Guangyuhuacheng”, not only the summary of the previous seven sessions, but also the brilliant achievements of Yangcheng’s 40 years of reform and opening up. Showcase and look forward to the future development of urban public art.
This year's lighting festival will be divided into the main venue of Huacheng Square and the six bridges of the Pearl River Front Channel (Jiefang Bridge, Haiyin Bridge, Liede Bridge, Haizhu Bridge, Jiangwan Bridge, South China Bridge), 12 Bridges of Zhujiang New Town, and Huangpu District (Huangpu Science Square, Ruifeng Center) four exhibition areas. From November 26th to December 4th, as many as 40 sets of lighting works will make Guangzhou city shine. Among them, the deadline for the exhibition of Huacheng Square lighting works is December 4th, the deadline for the Huangpu District venue is December 10th, and the deadline for the opening of the six bridges of Zhujiang River and Zhujiang New Town is April 25th, 2019.
The highly anticipated Guangzhou Tower Light Show, together with the major works of the Yihang Egret drone team and Huacheng Square on the evening of the opening ceremony, the new creative showcases the cultural confidence of Guangzhou's innovative technology, the tower lighting show in the world. It is also a rare case.
It is reported that the festival will be reserved on December 3 and 4, and citizens who plan to visit must log in to the official number of the Guangzhou International Lighting Festival within 24 hours before the event and make an appointment in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
